When should I contact you to cancel?
Please contact us at least 2 days in advance for cancellations.

Is there a cancellation fee?
Cancellation fees will be incurred from cancellations made the day before.
The day before: 20% of the accommodation fee
The day of: 80% of the accommodation fee
If there is no notice: 100% of the accommodation fee
Depending on the reservation route, changes and cancellations may not be possible.
Please contact the reservation point unless you made the reservation directly with the hotel. -
Can I request a floor, a room with a view, or a room close to the elevator?
Due to the location of the hotel, there are buildings around, so even though the rooms have windows, you cannot enjoy the view outside.
Please enjoy the view from the Kamogawa View Terrace on the rooftop.
We can accept requests for rooms closer to the elevator. Please contact us if you would like a room. -
I would like to change or cancel my reservation.
Depending on the reservation route, you may not be able to change or cancel your reservation.
Please contact the reservation point unless you made the reservation directly with the hotel. -
I made separate reservations, but can I stay consecutive nights?
If you have reserved the same room type, you can stay in the same room for consecutive nights.
Please contact the hotel when making your reservation or afterwards. -
If I stay in a different room each night, do I need to check out each time?
Once you have packed up your luggage and returned the key to the front desk, we will move your luggage to your next room as soon as it is ready. Please let us know your plans when you check in.

I have booked 2 rooms, can they be next to each other?
If you would like rooms next to each other, please write this in the comments section when making your reservation online, or contact us in advance by phone and we will accept your request. Please note that we may not be able to accommodate your request depending on the reservation situation on the day.

Is a consent form required when staying alone as a minor?
If you are a minor staying alone, we ask that you submit a consent form from your guardian. If you would like this, please contact us by phone or email.

Are there handicap / barrier-free rooms?
Unfortunately, we do not have handicap or rear-accessible rooms available.

Are there connecting rooms?
Unfortunately, we do not have any connection rooms, so we will try to find you a room as close as possible.

What is the accommodation fee for children sharing existing beds?
Children up to preschool age may stay in the same bed as their parents free of charge. Please let us know when making your reservation.

What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 3pm and check-out is at 11am.
★Hiyori members can enjoy early check-in and late check-out privileges. -
Can I check in earlier?
Early check-in is available for 2,000 yen per hour.
Please note that we may not be able to accommodate your request depending on the cleaning situation on the day. -
Can I extend my check-out time?
It depends on the reservation situation on the day, but it is possible.
The extension fee is 2000 yen per hour. -
Can I leave my luggage before check-in or after check-out?
We will store your valuables in the luggage locker on the first floor of the building.
Please keep your valuables with you at all times. -
I'd like to send my luggage to the hotel in advance.

Is it okay if I arrive late?
There is no curfew.
If you are arriving after 11pm, the room will be locked, so please let us know in advance. -
Can I send luggage from the hotel?
We handle Yamato Transport's home delivery service. We accept both cash on delivery and prepayment. We also sell cardboard boxes for home delivery.

Can I issue an accommodation certificate?
We can issue accommodation certificates. Please ask at the front desk.

Free Wi-Fi is available.

What amenities, linens, and supplies are provided?

Our hotel supports the purpose of the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) adopted by the United Nations and is working on local social and environmental issues, conserving energy and reducing plastic waste. *From April 1, 2022, in accordance with the enforcement of the Plastic Resource Recycling Promotion Act, we will be using amenities that reduce plastic.

Is there laundry service?
There is a washing machine in the room. We also provide detergent, so there is no need to purchase it.

We will arrange this for you free of charge. As numbers are limited, please enquire at the time of booking.

They are available for loan at the front desk, so please contact us if you would like to use one.

There is an air purifier with a humidifier in the room.

You can enjoy content from video distribution services such as YouTube.

Can I request a non-smoking or smoking room?
All rooms are non-smoking. If you wish to smoke, please use the smoking area outside on the first floor.

How many people can stay in one room?
Depending on the room type, the maximum capacity is 5 people.

Will my room be cleaned if I stay for multiple nights?
From the perspective of protecting the global environment, we are taking an environmentally friendly approach to cleaning for guests staying multiple nights by reusing bed linens (sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases) and in-house clothing instead of replacing them, through our "ECO Cleaning" system.

Are the bathroom and toilet separate?
All rooms have separate bathrooms and toilets.

What other equipment is available for rental?
Charging cables, conversion plugs, luggage scales, nail clippers. If you have any other requests, please contact us.

I would like to cook. What kind of food do you have available?
We provide a full set of cooking utensils, including a microwave, kitchen knives, cutting board, pot, frying pan, ladle, spatula, chopsticks, spoons, knives, plates, bowls, etc.
*Condiments (soy sauce, salt, sugar, pepper, mayonnaise) are available for rental at the front desk for 500 yen per set. Please inquire at the front desk if you would like to use them.
Regarding use by children

Can children use the facility?
Yes, you can. Pre-school students can stay free of charge if they share the same bedding as an adult.

Do you have room wear for children?
We do not have any special equipment. Please bring your own clothing that you normally wear.

Are there any rental items for children?
We have the following items available for loan: bed guards, booster toilet seats, diaper pots, baby bottle sterilizers, and bedwetting pads.
As we only have a limited number of these available, please contact us at the time of booking if you have any requests. -
Can I feed this to children as baby food?
Each room is equipped with a kitchen and microwave, so you can cook as you like.
About the building

What if I want to wash it?
There is a washing machine in the room. We also provide detergent, so please feel free to use it. There is a clothesline in the bathroom, so please use the drying function to dry your clothes.

Is there a microwave?
They are installed in your room. Please feel free to use them.

Can I move around the building while wearing the hotel loungewear?
Please use the room wear only in your room.

Do you have an ice machine?
An ice machine is available on the first floor of our hotel. If you wish, please bring the ice bucket in your room and use it.

What is the rooftop "Kamogawa View Terrace"?
This terrace allows you to relax while taking in the views of Kyoto's tourist spots, including the Higashiyama mountain range, Kiyomizu-dera Temple, and Kyoto Tower. Chairs are also provided for your use.

What hours is the Kamogawa View Terrace available for use?
For security reasons, the facility will be closed from midnight to sunrise.

Are there any fun services?
Drink service (juices) is available from 3pm to 10pm in the "TSUNAGARU LOUNGE". In addition, popsicle service (fruit) is also available in the lounge from 6pm to 10pm.
Upon check-in, one coin will be given to each person, and a drink from the vending machine will be given as a gift.

How much does breakfast cost?
Breakfast is free. It is a light meal, but everyone can have it.

How can I have breakfast?
You can eat at the "TSUNAGARU LOUNGE" on the first floor from 7:30am to 10am (last order 9:30am). If you would like to eat in your room, we can lend you trays etc., so please let us know.

What does the breakfast include?
We offer light snacks such as salads, yogurt, fruit punch, pancakes, bread, cereal, coffee, milk, and juice.

A map is available at the front desk. Please take a look there.

There are vending machines selling mineral water and other drinks in the vending machine corner next to the entrance on the first floor.

What is the accommodation tax?
This is a tax levied when staying at accommodations in Kyoto City. The tax is 200 to 1,000 yen per person, including children, depending on the amount of the stay.
If the accommodation fee is less than 20,000 yen: 200 yen.
If the accommodation fee is between 20,000 and 50,000 yen: 500 yen.
If the accommodation fee is 50,000 yen or more: 1,000 yen.
